The best thing about a primer is how easy it makes foundation application, and this primer is no different. It allows foundations and tinted moisturizers to glide over skin effortlessly.
My favorite part about this is how silky it feels, though. It’s siliconey, but in a good way. The soft formula fills in pores and fine lines so that they’re less noticeable under foundation. It’s also mattifying, so I can use facial oil in the morning without being shiny all day.
I buy the oil-free version of this primer, but there’s also a regular version, which feels and works the same way. Photo Finish also comes in apricot, lavender and green to help compensate for brown, dull or red spots. Two more options are luminizing and hydration versions. I haven’t tried any of these, but the luminizing one sounds as if it’s worth testing. The last option is SPF 15, which I’ve tried and works as well as the regular version.
I can’t imagine putting on foundation without the silky helpfulness of a primer, and this one is a great one. It’s $36 and one pump will do you, so it’s rather cost effective, especially if it can help you use less foundation. Note: I have the old packaging, but both are 1 oz.
